I love you… October 14, 2008

Valentines Day—I remember making the ever so special box to take to school for Valentines Day. And the agonizing decisions that went into which classmate got what valentine.  As tho they’d really read a lot into what the donald duck or cinderella cards might insinuate! Its a wonderful time though to do something extra special for the ones you love.  Do you do something fun for the kids? Do you and your husband do anything special every year?

I like to do a red theme, so I get all things red for this day, of course dressing DD up in all red and wearing at least some red for myself.

Strawberry pancakes in heart shapes, red jello jigglers are fun (I did a layered effect with clear and pink jello this year), spaghetti for dinner.

Typically gifts that are given are wrapped in red paper and have something to do with a heart/red theme.
