First day for Kindergarten is a big day…& every year after!  Do you do anything to mark this day in a special way?   What about the last day……..or the really VERY last day…Graduation!

Dad’s day of honor!  This is always fun when the kids are growing up.  What have you done for this special day…either for younger kids to honor Dad…..or you yourself to honor your Dad, or Grandfather?  What ideas have you done for your husband?


4th of July

Nothing symbolizes the height of summer in America like the 4th of July!   Fireworks, and picnics and parades! When I was growing up all my Dad’s brothers would come over and set off the fireworks…& lots of cousins around…and lots and lots of food! And games of croquet & badminton.


Funny, I dont FEEL that old! (ages …whatever & up!)

Coloring eggs…& jelly beans!

Easter egg hunts are a child’s favorite!  Especially if you live in a warm enough climate to search outdoors!  Seems we always still have snow on the ground at that time…so indoor hunts will have to do.  Coloring eggs is a must, but what else do you do?
